KOLKATA POLICE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 75 POSTS OF CIVIC VOLUNTEERS. LAST DATE — 26/02/2019
1. CIVIC VOLUNTEERS
No. of Vacancies: 75 Nos.
Unit wise vacancies:
i) South Division, Kolkata Police: 20 posts
ii) South Suburban Division, Kolkata Police: 40 posts
iii) Detective Department, Kolkata Police: 15 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) Class VIII pass.
ii) Preference would be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet/ Boy Scouts/ NSS Guide/ Civil Defence Volunteers etc.
iii) Should not have any criminal record against his/her in any Police Station.
iv) Should be physically and mentally fit.
v) Preferably a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 60 years as on 01/01/2019.
The vacancies are under different units of Kolkata Police. Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo a two weeks’ training course.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Kolkata Police — www.kolkatapolice.gov.in

The envelope containing the print-out/enclosures should be superscribed on top with — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CIVIC VOLUNTEER”
Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures should reach at the following address — Deputy Commissioner of Police of the concerned Unit (for more details see the Official Advt.), on or before 26/02/2019 by 05:00 PM.
Applications should be submitted Personally in the Drop Box kept in the concerned
Divisional/ Unit office.
